Trattoria · Clifton, Bristol · since 1998
Fresh handmade pasta, wood-fired pizza and wines from small family vineyards. We cook the way they still do in Bologna and Naples: with time, great ingredients and plenty of heart.
Our story
It all started with a small wood-fired oven, Nonna Giulia's recipes and a firm belief that good food should never be rushed. Today Lorenzo Colombo runs the trattoria as the second generation, together with his family and a team who love Italian cooking as much as he does.
We roll our pasta by hand every morning, rest our pizza dough for 48 hours and choose our wines in person from small family vineyards in Tuscany and Campania. Everyone who eats with us should feel part of a big Italian family: warm, relaxed and always with room for one more plate.
