Frequently asked questions
What does a website actually cost?
Exactly what's listed in our pricing. Starter is £59 a month plus £59 setup, Complete is £99 a month plus £149 setup. Prefer to pay once? £595 for a new one-page website, £1,195 for a complete new website with several pages. All excl. VAT, no hidden costs.
How does payment work?
You pay a deposit first, then we create your first draft. On one-off plans that's 50%, with the other 50% due on completion. On monthly plans it's a one-off setup fee (Starter £59, Complete £149), then your subscription begins. If you still don't like the draft after two rounds of revisions, we refund your deposit.
How long does it take?
You see your first draft within 5 working days. A new one-page website is usually live within a week, a multi-page website within one to two weeks.
Do you rework my existing site or build a new one?
Always a new one. We don't patch up old technology, we build from scratch. We carry over your content, your domain and your Google rankings. Your old site stays online until the new one is ready.
Who owns the website on a monthly plan?
While your plan runs, we host and look after it for you. After 12 months you can cancel at any time, or take over the website completely for a one-off buyout fee. Your content and your domain always belong to you.
What happens after the 12 months?
Your plan simply continues month to month and you can cancel at any time. The price stays the same.
Do I still need hosting or a website builder?
No. Monthly plans include hosting, domain and maintenance. On one-off plans, hosting, domain and email are free for the first year, then £49 a year. For ongoing updates and changes there's the optional Care Plan at £12 a month.
